- Your content stays yours. You’re responsible for what you post and for following each platform’s rules.
- We work hard to post everything on time, but platforms can change or go down, so we can’t guarantee every post.
- You can stop using TimeItUp and delete your data whenever you like.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and TimeItUp (“TimeItUp”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the TimeItUp website and app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you’re using TimeItUp for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
The Service
TimeItUp lets you write posts, attach photos and videos, schedule them, and publish them automatically to the Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, TikTok accounts and YouTube channels you connect. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information.
- Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account, including by team members you invite.
- Tell us straight away at contact@timeitup.com if you think your account has been misused.
Your content
You own the captions, images, videos and other material you put into TimeItUp (“your content”). You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service — for example, to publish it to the accounts and at the times you choose.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, and that your content doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.
Social platforms
TimeItUp connects to services run by other companies. When you use them through TimeItUp, you must also follow their terms:
- Meta’s Terms of Service and Instagram Terms of Use;
- TikTok’s Terms of Service;
- the YouTube Terms of Service — by connecting YouTube, you agree to be bound by them.
Those companies decide what they allow, and they can review, restrict or remove content or access at any time. For example, TikTok and YouTube may keep posts from new apps private until they approve the app. We aren’t responsible for the platforms’ actions or availability.
Acceptable use
Don’t use TimeItUp to:
- post spam, or anything illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing or misleading;
- post to accounts you aren’t authorised to manage;
- get around a platform’s rules or limits;
- attack, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability
Posts are published by a scheduled task that checks the queue regularly, so a post may go out a few minutes after its scheduled time. Temporary platform errors are retried automatically. Maintenance, hosting problems or platform outages can still delay or prevent a post, and we can’t promise the Service will always be available or error-free.
Ending your use
You can stop using TimeItUp at any time, disconnect your accounts, and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we’re required to by law.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TimeItUp won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities — including from a post that was late, failed, or was removed by a platform. TimeItUp is provided free of charge, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email before they take effect. If you keep using TimeItUp after that, you accept the updated terms.
